When entering Mexico by land or air, the foreigner who obtained a temporary or permanent resident visa must present his or her passport with the visa. And the immigration authority will put a stamp with 30 days so that during this time the foreigner can complete the residency process, whether temporary or permanent.

The visa issued by the Embassy or Consulate of Mexico may be used exclusively during the validity period, which begins with the date of its issuance and for a single entry.
