Temporary Residence and Permanent Residence in México (FM1, FM2 and FM3)

Just like Mexicans, foreigners in Mexico also require a series of documents to open a bank account, which are:

• Valid passport
• Current temporary or permanent residence document issued by the National Migration Institute (INM)
• Proof of address, such as a water or electricity bill
• Clave Única de Registro de Población (CURP) (Unique Population Registry Code)
